We've had lots of clients sail Viking'sAustralia and New Zealandocean cruise recently. Several shared these amazing photos and memories from their travels:
Vicki and George Davis:
"Beautiful Sydney skyline from our ship."
"View of the Sydney Opera House leaving the harbor."
"One of the theaters inside the Sydney Opera House."
"In Wellington, we took an optional excursion to Shenandoah, a sheep farm where during World War II US Marines were trained before Guadalcanal. Simon and his late father have built quite a museum including this Jeep which was presented to a neighboring farmer when the Marines shipped out. It was to thank him for the turkeys they stole from his farm because they were so tired of eating mutton. It was our favorite excursion."
"Lovely Mona Vale Gardens in Christ Church, NZ."
"Lovely carvings in a trunk of a red gum tree in Fitzroy Gardens Melbourne. Carved in 1932 by Ola Cohn and dedicated to children and Fairies."
"Enjoying river cruise in Melbourne, Australia. Nancy and Rowland Davidson with Vicki and George Davis."
"Waiting for the shuttle to take us back to the ship in Dunedin (New Zealand)."
Kathy and Ken Peak, who also sailed Viking'sAustralia and New Zealandocean cruise, said their travels were a bit impacted by the recent cyclone causing them to miss Napier. However, they still reported having a wonderful trip!
While on-board, Kathy held 8 highly attended card-making classes much to the delight of other travelers and crew!
"Cute koala in Australia."
"Massive grapevine wine glass."
"Beautiful scenery in New Zealand."
Finally, Sally Cook and her son, Sam, who also sailed Australia and New Zealandshared these beautiful photos:
