Meet Our Team
Last month I shared about our wonderful Team Retreat at Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia. While there I had a photographer come and do a professional photo shoot to update our website. I thought it might be a good time to reintroduce everyone on the team, tell a bit about their role with the company and share their contact information. Some you may talk to regularly, some may be new to you, but we are all here to serve you.
Carol Shaddix
Carol is the founder and captain of the Imagine Going There Travel team. Carol began this career journey to help build great vacations forming unforgettable memories for her clients. Read more about Carol's storyhere.
LaurenHeight - Air Specialist (Call her with all your Air Plus questions!)

MeghanCurtis -Guest Logistics and Insurance Specialist
Meghan handles everything related to onboarding our clients’ details into our 18-point follow-up system, as well as making sure our guests’ vacations are well-protected with travel insurance. Her attention to detail is a major asset in making sure nothing falls through the cracks so our clients can travel with peace of mind. You can learn more about Meghan here.
Lynn Johnson - CPA and Finance Manager (Think final payments questions!)
As a numbers girl, Lynn is quick-witted, but she is also an avid reader. We enjoy her ability to make everyone around her smile with her kind heart and great sense of humor. Read more about Lynnhere.
Krista Shelton - Client Care Manager ("If you can’t reach Carol call me!”)
Krista joined our team in 2023 as the Client Care Manager. Most days, she's sitting side-by-side with Carol helping research and answer client questions. Her favorite country to visit is Thailand!Clickhereto read more about Krista.
Darlene is our incredible Hospitality Specialist who does a lot of the behind-the-scenes work for our team. She graduated from Auburn with a degree in Finance, and we are so grateful for her spreadsheet abilities, too! Read more about Darlenehere.
New to the team,Melissa Brummelwill be helping with in-person events, and ensuring our guests have the best possible travel experience. Melissa is a gifted problem-solver, hard worker, and loves people! You will enjoy meeting her at our community events.
Two staff members couldn’t be at the retreat, but are valuable members of our team:Heidi Bullaour Engagement Coordinator andRachel Valleserour Virtual Assistant in the Philippines. You may not hear from them directly but many of the great things we do for our clients wouldn’t happen without them!
